For the next twenty days or so, I’ll be staying days and nights above 2600m (8660 ft).
Well, actually, I’ll be running on road many times again. This week is the last week where my training plan says I should run exclusively on-road.
Here is the progress from no running.
Believe it or not, only few month ago I could not run.
Well, although everybody here is responsible, let’s state the following.
I believe that the comments, advices that are given in this blog work for me. That is for a male in his 30th, fit, with an healthy life, who has some endurance sport and mountain experience. I do care about what I do and I have some understanding of the risk I may take.
A lot of those advices apply to most people. Nevertheless, if you are not sure about what you are doing, check with your doctor and with a coach ! That is particularly true if you have done very little to no sport in the past, if you need to gain muscles or to loose weight.
Don’t go running alone in the mountains! Especially if you’re not experienced with mountaineering! And always use appropriate equipment.
